Frozen Moments

It's been a difficult year, both personal and global. 

I won't bore you with the details,

but it's clear we could all use something.

A pick me up, as it were.

Life is a series of moments,

so fleeting it's nearly a blur.

It is our burdened minds

that simply do not recognize

these seconds as special.

Those moments, however,

are a beautiful thing.

A visual cacophony 

exploding in color and texture.

This set of still life images

were intended for a larger set

but life continues to rear it's head.

I'm releasing them a *little* early

for those who are stuck at home,

trying to keep a stiff upper lip

during these trying times.

We are all in this together.

So let's take solace in the moments

we often forget are beautiful.
