Cool Blue . . . the color suits you

I read the reviews.
I take constructive criticism seriously.

You're blue that we don't have more blue.
We here at the studio understand your needs.
In fact - we invented them.
You didn't know you needed cool rugs.
Now you can't get enough of them.
We've created a monster.
And we love you for it.

C'mere. Gimme a hug.
Ooookay. That's enough.
Jeez - personal space.

My god - there's a bit of a bear in you.
Rowr!

Check out these babies while I fan myself.

This triple dog dare was hopefully met.
Wanna know what's harder to find than a blue antique rug?
A green one.
Give me time bubbies.
Give.
Me.
Time.

In the mean time,
Chill out in your finished basement

cool off in your cottage by the lake

or just listen to the blues on the victrola.

You wanted it
you got it.

  3. Thanks RD! Hope you have a very happy holiday :)

necromunchy - It is hard to say exactly which site I found it at. I spent the better part of six hours yesterday searching for blue rugs to meet this request. I went through about ten pages of google searches for antique rug companies. Many of the sites only list their images as numbers and my organizational skills are not the strongest. I believe it was Mansour Rugs, but I cannot find the exact image in my history. Hope that helps :)

  8. YAY! Thanks everyone!

Birgitte Heuschkel - Thank you for requesting blue rugs! I swear I will find green rugs for you too!

  9. Can't wait for the green ones, as it's my all time favorite color <3 As much as I love all your large rugs, I would like to suggest/request one little thing; small rugs. I usually prefer to decorate small apartments and often I want to use your gorgeous antique or Kilim rugs and they just don't fit :'(

    And lol@Velvet's comment XD

  10. Hi Martine - I had a small rug set lined up for release when I saw that dreaded commentary at MS3B that all of the rugs look alike, so I shifted gears. You are wanting the 2x3 size? I need more small rugs, too. This 4x3 is a popular size and I will probably do the green set when I can compile enough images to do a set of 12 in this size, but you have me wondering if I can't just change the mesh and release all of the 4x3 as 2x3 as well - ratios are strange, but I think it might work and then it could be a dual download - those who want a smaller rug could have the smaller rug.

I have been toying with remapping the 2x3 anyway as the images can blur a bit as they are being stretched to fix 3 squares (these are 512 [2 squares] and should be 768 [3 squares], but 768 is not recognized by the game - 1024 is the next size up). Let me do some tests to see if this can be done and I may just do a massive remake of the medium rugs into a smaller size. The 5x3 rugs would not work for this potential 'fix' to those needing a smaller rug . . . thank you for the request!

  11. Thank you very much, I wouldn't mind the rude MS3B comments too much and just create what you want to make, I just saw Helaene left the simming community because of trolls, and that's just a shame :/ I think a lot of people eagerly await your next creations (including me!), and really, you can never have too many rugs, large or small!

I hope the ratio thing will work out and can't wait to see them :)

  12. Oh, the comment was not rude - it was an eye opener though. I needed to look at the sets with new eyes and I feel [key word] constructive criticism is how we improve. I really appreciate those kinds of comments and really, it just broadens the scope of what we have for our games.

My heart really sank when I read that Helaene left the community. I don't know what was said, but really, the amount of personal time and money involved in creation, it seems unjust that anyone be harshly judged for what they wish to share freely and openly.

I'm keeping my peeper peeled though for more greens! I'll trial the idea about scaling the rug and hopefully I will have a whole new option to offer! Thank you so much for that suggestion - it would not have occurred to me otherwise!

  13. Your offerings are so beautiful. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the work all of you put into your creations, and the fact that you choose to share them. Thank you.

  14. Lovely!!! Thank you so much. The 2x3 link of the blue rugs is broke though... I hope that you'll fix it because I'd love to have these gorgeous rugs in both sizes :)

  16. I realize this is 2 years too late, but along with loving everything you make, I also love that you quoted a Laurie Anderson song in your post title <3

  17. Music is a huge influence in my life ... without music there is not art.

While I love Laurie Anderson, and still listen to her (United States Parts I-IV is brilliant - saw her lecture at Berkley Hall, Boston - what an innovator!) the credit really goes to Eurythmics in this case - third album "Touch"
